Build Route 04 / Base44

Choose Base44 when a customer or team member needs to do something, not just read about it.

This is the route for a working tool: a lead tracker, intake flow, quote calculator, client portal, simple dashboard, or small app that takes an input and returns something useful.

OUTPUT: ONE WORKING INPUT → ACTION → OUTPUT FLOW

The exact moment to choose Base44

You can describe a repeated task in one sentence. For example: “A prospect enters their project details, chooses a service, and receives a quote request summary.” That is a workflow. It needs a tool, not another brochure page.

Build this first version

  1. User: Name the person using it.
  2. Input: List the information they enter or choose.
  3. Action: State the one button or step they take.
  4. Output: Define what they receive, see, or send next.
  5. Review: Test the flow yourself before asking anyone else to use it.

45-minute first test

Write this sentence before you open the builder: “A [user] enters [information], clicks [action], and gets [output].” Build only that path. Do not add accounts, dashboards, integrations, or a dozen screens until the first flow works.

Stop and choose another route if...

The visitor only needs to understand your service, see examples, and contact you. That is a Wix site. If you want a WordPress content site, choose WordToSite. If you simply need help drafting a marketing site from notes, choose Wegic.

Christopher’s desk note

If the product needs 12 features before anyone can test it, you have not found the first version yet.
